Good and bad points about summer

Good points about summer are summer vacation and some events. You can go anywhere because you have summer vacation. You can go sea, camp and somewhere. You can do BBQ with your friends or family. There are kinds of summer foods. For example, there are so-men, a shaved ice and a water melon. In summer, there are some special events. There are summer festival and my birth day. I like summer festival because it has fireworks. I enjoyed it this year. On the other hand, bad point about summer is too hot. I am suffering from summer heat. I want to use air conditioner every day. However, I have to pay 500 yen if I use air conditioner in my house. It is hard for me.

How I study during the vacation

I study English listening to music and watching DVDs. I often listen to music on Youtube. The music movie that I chose and watch display the words. So, I can understand easier if I can't listen to words well. I listen to same song again and again. In summer vacation, I often listen to Cyndi Lauper's song. It is "True Colors". I often study with my sister because she has to study for entrance examination of high school. Sometimes, I teach English and math for her. However, I don't like math, so I study math using her textbook together every time. I think teaching my sister is good study for me.

①Keeping Him busy

If you have a family and a job, you will have no time to think about anything else. My mother often says that she is always busy because she has a lot of housework and jobs every day. If she has no her job, she has to do housework. She sometimes goes to school for school events because my younger sister is a high school student. When she was single, she could do what she wanted to, but she has no free time to think about anything else.

②Obstructing

The Board of Education in Otsu City was blocking information about bullying. Because of it, parents whose son killed himself couldn’t know the truth about their son’s school life.

③Discouraging

My friends wanted to go to a college outside Kumamoto. However, her father didn’t agree it because he worried about her. Eventually, she gave up going to a college that she wanted to go to, and she goes to the college in Kumamoto now.

JuJu

JuJu is my favorite singer, so I want to tell you about her.  

She is from Hiroshima in Japan. She stated to sing songs as a singer when she was 28 years old. She sings J-pop, R&B and Jazz. She had wanted to be a singer since she was 12 years old. When she was 18 years old, she went to New York and she liked there at the time. A half years later, she went to New York again. She met famous musician then. It was good chance for her to be a singer.

She had been a smoker until 9 years ago, but she tried to stop smoking. She could stop smoking on December 31th in 2003. Her voice was more beautiful because she stopped smoking. I leaned smoking is bad for health.

Her hobby is reading books. She reads about 10 books in a week. I respect her.

My favorite song is “Sora”. I think that it is very good song. When I was a high school student, I always listened to that song and I sang that song in karaoke. Please listen to it.

I think that JuJu is a good singer, so please listen to her songs.

What classes I will take next term

I will take 12 classes next term. I think that cultural anthropology is the most interesting class because I can learn culture and religion at that class. So, I am looking forward to studying it next term. I will take economics. It is difficult for me to study it because I couldn't understand it when I took it at the spring term. The economics final test was very difficult for me. However, I want to do my best because I want to earn that credit. I will take Listening class. I studied English using a movie spring term. It was the Truman Show. It was so interesting. So, I want to study English using an interesting movie next term.

My vacation plans

I went to summer vacation which was held at my home town last Saturday. I went it with my friends. It had many kinds of booth. I watched fireworks there. It was the first summer memory for me. Now, I spend watching London Olympic. The time difference between Japan and London is about eight hours, so it is hard for me to sit up late. However, I am cheering for Japanese players every day. I will trip with my family next week. My mother is looking forward to do it. I would like to enjoy it. I have to look for a part time job. I want to make money during summer vacation.
