Essay1-01a:Host family letter

    Dear host family, hello I’m Hazuki. I live in Kumamoto. My birthday is in August. I like summer because it has a lot of events. For example, we have a summer vacation, a summer festival and my birthday. I will stay with you for 6 weeks this summer, so please tell me what events do you recommend in summer. In my house, we have some rules. First, we write our own schedule on a white board because my parents want to know what everyone is doing. For example, we write what time we should make up. Second, the person who takes a bath last cleans up the bathroom and the person who finishes dinner last washes dishes. I can eat dinner quickly, but I always take a bath late, so I have to clean up the bathroom almost every day. Do you have any rules in your family?

       I live in Kikuchi City. I think Kikuchi City is beautiful because it has a lot of trees and the fireworks of summer festival are very beautiful. In summer, people can go to Kikuchi valley. It’s very cool and the water is clean. However, I don’t like go out, so I have gone there only two or three times go to now. When I go to your country, I’d like to visit some places. What spot do you usually go to?

       By the way, I like K-pop, so I listen to K-pop music in my free time. Do you know any famous K-pop group? I especially like KARA. Are they famous in your country? I go to KGU now. It takes about an hour from my house to the university. I’m not good at get up early, so sometimes I am late for classes.
